Spirulina is a nutrient-dense microalgae that grows naturally in warm, freshwater ponds and lakes. By cultivating it in a clean, controlled environment using natural processes, we’ve transformed one of the oldest organisms on Earth into one of nature’s most potent food sources.

Farming
Simpliigood spirulina is a unique strain of algae grown at two state-of-the-art microfarms in closed-source freshwater ponds to keep the growing environment as optimized and clean as possible. Our year-round ponds in Israel are regularly cleaned, and live cultures are added to our fresh water to maintain a stable growing environment and high nutritional standards for every harvest.

Harvesting
We harvest Simpliigood Spirulina every day to maintain the freshest growing environment possible.
Low-shear equipment gently filters and processes each strand of Simpliigood, avoiding disruption of Spirulina’s delicate cell structure or its nutritional integrity.
Each growth cycle, which takes about three weeks to fully develop, is tested and verified by third-party food laboratories to ensure it meets our quality, nutritional, and food safety standards.
Upon harvesting, fresh Simpliigood Spirulina is immediately packed and rapidly frozen to lock in all its nutritional qualities.

Testing
To eliminate contamination, we use advanced molecular and biochemical fingerprinting methods to ensure only pure Spirulina is present.
We also implement rigorous, continuous, and high-resolution monitoring and control protocols to keep our cultures 100% toxin-free, including on-site testing for various potential contaminants.
All our products are fully traceable, allowing us to track the complete history of every batch across the entire supply chain - from cultivation and harvesting to packaging, storage, and shipment.

Freezing
Our method for freezing and preserving Simpliigood Spirulina’s active nutritional value comes with an added benefit: it gives Spirulina a neutral flavor, no odor, and a smooth texture - so it won’t alter the taste of your food, a common drawback of other Spirulina products in powder, tablet, or frozen form.
There’s no need to defrost Simpliigood Spirulina - just drop a cube into your meal and blend or stir until fully mixed.
